Welcome to Killara Uniting Church "Fiveways" located at 29A Arnold St Killara at the corner of Arnold St and Karranga Ave, nestled in the quiet leafy surrounds of the Killara neighbourhood.
Convenient on street parking is available along Arnold Street, Karranga Avenue and nearby residential streets. We are also just a short walk from Killara station which has lift access.
Our facilities-including the Church, hall and meeting rooms are fully accessible, with wheelchair access available to all areas including restrooms.
Steeped in history, our beautiful Church has been a place of worship since 1902. Inside, you'll find six stunning painted and stained-glass windows dedicated to the memory of young congregation members who sacrificed their lives during the Great War and World War II, ensuring their legacy endures.
We offer casual and regular hire options, with rates available upon request. If you need Public Liability insurance for a single event, we can arrange coverage through the Uniting Church of Australia for a fixed fee.

The second main building on our site is the Killara Uniting Church Memorial Hall; built in honour of the 84 congregation members who served in WWII, 12 of whom made the ultimate sacrifice. The Prime Minister of Australia laid the foundation stone on 21st July 1951 and the Governor of NSW officially opened the building on 18th October 1952.
The Memorial Hall hosts a variety of community activities, including public interest lectures, children's and youth programs and dance, sporting, craft and musical groups. It is a popular venue for fellowship groups and is frequently used by the wider community.

NB: Venue use is prioritised for events directly associated with the church congregation, such as fundraisers, morning tea, pastoral and committee meetings, weddings, baptisms and funerals.
External venue hirers must provide insurance and sign a rental agreement.
A security bond is required and hirers are responsible for leaving the facilities clean, including stacking chairs and sweeping the floors. Any damages or issues must be reported immediately.
Additionally, all lights and heating must be turned off and the premises should be securely locked upon departure.
